Mitten in Mitte hat studio karhard® für Coiffeurmeister Viktor Leske einen zweiten Salon kreiert. Markante Elemente im vorderen Raum sind die von der Decke hängenden Frisierspiegel aus schwarzem Stahl, oxidiertem und poliertem Edelstahl. Zusammen mit dunklem Holz und Beton entstand so eine karge, aber dennoch warme Atmosphäre. Der Enge des hinteren Bereichs wird eine aufwändige Lichtinstallation in einer gefalteten Spiegelwand entgegengesetzt. Die aus Glas, Halbspiegeln und Spiegeln bestehende Wand wird rhythmisch durch eine programmierbare LED-Beleuchtung inszeniert. Für wartende Kunden wurde eine in schwarz gehaltene Bar als Wartebereich konzipiert
studio karhard® has created a second salon for top hairdresser Viktor Leske in the heart of Berlin’s Mitte district. Outstanding features at the front of the premises include the ceiling-hung hairdressing mirrors framed in black metal and deliberately oxidised, polished stainless steel. The use of dark wood and concrete creates an atmosphere that manages to be both minimalist and warm and inviting.
A carefully designed system of lighting and all-round mirrors lends a sense of space to the limited dimensions at the back of the premises. The wall, which consists of glass and reflecting/semi-reflecting mirror elements, is fitted with a programmable system of rhythmic LED lighting.
A bar decorated in black has been designed for the customer waiting area.
