Umbau eines ehem. Bahngebäudes zu Künstlerateliers
Instandgesetzt wurde hier ein bauhistorisch wertvolles Gebäudeensemble auf einem Bahngelände hinter dem Ostkreuz. Ehemalige Betriebsgebäude der Bahn wurden zu Künstlerateliers und Werkstätten umgenutzt mit Unterstützung des Förderprogramms Urban II. Durchgeführt wurden alle Leistungsphasen sowie Kostenplanung und -überwachung.
Conversion of a former railway building into an artists’ studio
The project involved the refurbishment of an ensemble of listed historic buildings on former railway premises near Berlin’s Ostkreuz suburban railway (S-Bahn) station. The railway’s former operating buildings were converted into a series of artists’ studios and workshops with the aid of Urban II, a programme of public subsidies designed to promote urban regeneration. The project included all phases of delivery, along with cost-planning and monitoring.
